Job summary

Marianwood Health and Rehabilitation in Issaquah, WA, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our in-house rehab program serving geriatric patients in a post-acute setting. The OTA will screen and evaluate patients, plan and deliver rehabilitative therapies, assist with wound care, and generate discharge summaries.

Applicants must hold an OT/OTA license; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• OTA license required.
• Open to all experience levels.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, gait training, exercises, modalities).
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.
