Job summary

Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a PRN/per diem role at our Texas facility. You will plan and administer OT services under supervision, helping residents regain independence and improve quality of life.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF experience preferred. Familiarity with Net Health EHR is a plus. Join our in-house rehab team and enjoy flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
Experience with Net Health EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
Provide therapy services under supervision of an OT per physician orders.
Respond to service requests and relay information to the OT.
Ensure treatments align with the plan of care.
Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
Monitor patient response and report changes to the OT.
Complete required documentation per policy and regulations.
Attend required rehab meetings.
