Driftwood Healthcare Center-Santa Cruz is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our compassionate care team. The role involves evaluating patients, planning treatments, and delivering direct clinical care within established plans of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments to ensure discharge to a safe environment.
