Hireology is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN position in Texas. You will work with an in-house rehab team to enhance residents' independence through ADLs/IADLs, evaluate conditions, develop plans, and ensure safe home environment modifications.

Expect collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, thorough documentation, and flexible scheduling. Prior experience in SNF or long-term care and current Texas OT licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients to evaluate their condition and impact on daily occupations.
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize ADLs and IADLs.
• Assess home environments and recommend modifications.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training for independence and safety.
• Deliver treatments per the plan of care and monitor response.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Complete documentation in line with policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as designated by leadership.
