Job summary

Allaire Health Services, LLC is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team in Boston. You will perform comprehensive assessments, design care plans, and provide therapy to residents to promote mobility and independence.

This role requires an active OT license in the state, CPR/BLS, and experience with EMR systems. You will collaborate with physical therapy, speech therapy, and nursing staff, educate families, and supervise clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Section GG data collection and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with EMR and MS Office applications.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise assistants, technicians/aids, and students.
• Modality certification is a plus.
• Experience in LTPAC/LTC clinical programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and evaluate mobility, balance, and gait.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clear mobility goals.
• Administer therapy interventions including exercises and modalities.
• Educate residents, families, and care staff on safe mobility techniques.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, daily progress notes in EMRs.
• Collaborate with rehab team to ensure comprehensive care.
