MedStar Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join the team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital in Maryland. The OT will provide a range of services including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, and discharge planning, while documenting and communicating progress to patients and families.

The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to program planning, and supporting department goals in a busy rehab setting.

Qualificações

• Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• OT licensure in District of Columbia (DC).
• CPR/Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers within 90 Days.

Responsabilidades

• Provides evaluation services and documents results, communicates findings to patient/family, and involves patient/family in goal setting.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation, adjusting as patient condition changes.
• Completes discharge planning with proper documentation, progress notes, and billing.
• Manages an accurate schedule, maintains productivity, and supports flexible patient access to care.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams, committees, and community outreach, and mentors staff/students.
