Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Occupational Therapist licensure in District of Columbia (DC).
• CPR/BLS/NRP for healthcare providers within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services and documents results.
• Explains findings and treatment plan to patient and family.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation and patient needs.
• Consults with other healthcare professionals as indicated.
• Documents and manages plan of care and discharge planning.
• Maintains accurate scheduling and productivity standards.
• Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
• Represents the department in community outreach efforts.
