Job summary

Fremont Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents within a supportive care team. The salary range is $104,000–$124,800 per year, with a sign-on bonus and benefits such as PTO and referral bonuses.

New graduates are welcome; California license required and duties include assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This is an on-site role at Fremont, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CA OT license.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
