Job summary

UC Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist for the rehabilitation services department at West Chester Hospital. The OT will support patient care based on assessed needs, established standards of care and hospital policy.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering care with a patient- and family-centered approach, and ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by AOTA.
• License to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Ohio.
• CPR Certification.
• Recently certified, licensed or graduates within past 12 months.
• Preferred: 1-2 years equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in population appropriate communication and provides clear instructions to patients and families regarding treatment.
• Performs functional assessments and develops individualized treatment plans aligned with diagnosis and goals.
• Delivers care in collaboration with the treatment team and reassesses progress according to department policy.
• Maintains timely documentation and complies with regulatory standards and charges.
• Participates in department performance improvement and mentoring of staff and students.
• Accepts at least one student per year and upholds UC Health initiatives and safety standards.
