Job summary

UC Health's West Chester Hospital in Ohio seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist for the First Shift in the Rehabilitation Services department. The OT will deliver high-quality care based on assessed needs and established standards of care, working within policy and procedures.

You will collaborate with the treatment team, educate patients and families, document progress, and participate in performance improvement activities while maintaining a professional, compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by AOTA.
• License to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Ohio.
• CPR Certification.
• Recently certified, licensed or graduates within past 12 months. Prefer: 1-2 years equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in population appropriate communication and delivers high-quality OT care based on assessed needs.
• Collaborates with rehab team to plan and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educates patients and families on home exercises, body mechanics and safety.
• Maintains timely documentation and adheres to hospital policies.
