AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist patients in improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, and overall independence
Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company policies and regulations
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while working collaboratively with the therapy team
