Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse in Occupational Health to provide on-site care for corporate clients in Georgetown, KY. Shifts include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options with night shifts strongly preferred.

Expect OSHA/DOT screenings, episodic care, and coordination with TPA and client for return-to-work. You will perform medical tests, administer meds, and maintain records in a compliant, safe environment while promoting employee wellness and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current hands-on training in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS may be required based on contract scope.
• Three years’ experience in an occupational health clinic, ER, or ambulatory care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within scope of practice.
• Deliver evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate return-to-work with TPA and client.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope of practice.
• Maintain equipment and infection control procedures; keep health records up to date.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
