Job summary

Intermountain Health in Colorado is seeking a PRN OB/GYN physician to join a dedicated team providing hospitalist and clinic coverage. You will work across three OB/GYN clinics in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, with hospitalist shifts at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton.

Shifts vary; clinic shifts are 8 hours at $1,400; hospitalist shifts are 12 hours at $1,876. Malpractice coverage is paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a fully accredited medical school.
• ACGME-accredited residency in OBGYN.
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN.
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Federal DEA Registration.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• On an as-needed basis, provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts and clinic shifts.
• Care in three OB/GYN clinics in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado with a level II NICU and Labor & Delivery Unit.
• MFM onsite in Brighton two days per week and available 24/7 for consults.
• Clinic shifts are generally 8 hours; hospitalist shifts are 12 hours; shifts can be stacked in 24-hour increments.
• Malpractice coverage paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

About this role:

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• On an as‑needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts and clinic shifts.
• You’ll provide care in three of our OB/GYN clinics, located in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts will be at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. Platte Valley is home to a level II NICU and thriving Labor & Delivery Unit. We are a designated Baby-FriendlyHospital,that has been ranked highly in Women’s Choice Awards Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and Emergency Care. Anesthesia is available 24/7 in house with backup.
• MFM is onsite in Brighton two days per weekand is available24/7forconsult.
• Clinic shifts are generally 8‑hours in length, at a pay rate of $1,400.00.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are 12‑hours in length at a pay rate of $1,876.00. If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24‑hour increments.
• Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Federal DEA Registration
• BLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
