Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a PRN OB/GYN hospitalist for St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT. You will provide obstetric and gynecologic care in the L&D and ED, with 12-hour shifts and 24/7 anesthesia on site. Malpractice coverage is provided by Intermountain Health.

Requirements include MD/DO, ACGME OB/GYN residency, board eligibility or certification, Montana license, DEA registration, and BLS. Credentialing will be completed through Intermountain Health.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board eligibility in OB/GYN
• ACGME residency in OB/GYN required
• Montana medical license or ability to obtain one
• DEA registration required for clinical practice
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing process completion with Intermountain Health

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care in L&D and the ED at St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings.
• Work 12-hour OB/GYN hospitalist shifts; shifts can be stacked for 24-hour increments.
• Malpractice coverage paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

Education

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN

Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN

Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one

Federal DEA Registration

BLS certification

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

About this role:

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.

• You will provide care to patients in L&D and the ED that have obstetric or gynecology needs.

• Anesthesia in house and available 24/7

• MFM clinic onsiteand available24/7fortelehealth consult.

• St Vincent is a large regional referral center, thatwelcomes an average of1,800 deliveries annually in ouraward winningLabor & Delivery unit. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at alllevels of acuity&lengthsof gestation.We are a designated Baby-FriendlyHospital, rankingin the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women’sChoice Awards Best Hospitals 2025. Weareexcitedto berelocatingto anewly builthospitalfacility in 2029.

• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are12-hoursin length at a pay rate of$2,010.00. If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments.

• Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

• If youcovera shift in clinic, it will be paid at a rate of $2,168.00 per 8 hours.
