Grand Canyon University Inc. invites applications for an Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty member (PRN). The role requires travel within the Boise/Meridian Idaho area to observe student performance during clinical rotations and to reinforce nursing fundamentals for pre-licensure students.

You will collaborate with faculty, participate in grading, and stay current with nursing trends while supporting accreditation requirements and the university's mission.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN Leadership or Education enrollment to be initiated upon hire, paid by GCU OR
• BSN with at least 9 graduate credits or a related national certification; specify on resume.
• 3 years of OB clinical nursing experience with a BSN.
• Active multi-state RN license (compact).
• Must pass drug test and competency assessment.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach nursing knowledge/skills for pre-licensure students.
• Collaborate with content-area faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written tests and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice and program accreditation requirements.
• Travel within the Boise (Meridian) Idaho area to observe student performance during clinical rotations.
• Support the program's mission and Doctrinal/Ethical statements while serving the community.
