Grand Canyon University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty members to share expertise with our nursing students. This PRN adjunct position requires travel within the Boise area to directly observe student performance during clinical rotations.

We seek candidates with BSN (MSN leadership/education enrollment upon hire preferred), or BSN with graduate coursework or national certification, plus 3 years of pediatric clinical nursing experience, and an active multi-state RN

Qualifications

• BSN required with immediate enrollment in MSN Leadership or MSN Education program or equivalent.
• 3 years' pediatric clinical nursing experience with BSN.
• Active, multi-state RN license and ability to travel within the Boise area.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to guide and assess students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach nursing knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance checks.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe performance during rotations.
• Support the university's philosophy and mission while engaging with the community.
