Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in nursing and 3 years of direct patient care in OB/women's health, enrolled in a graduate program.
• Active, current, unencumbered, multi-state RN license (compact).
• Must pass drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships with students.
• MSN or higher required; 2 years of recent obstetrics clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
• Travel within the Phoenix area to directly observe student performance.
