Wellpath in Ventura, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients under the Site Medical Director’s supervision. You will perform routine and emergency care, document using SOAP notes, and coordinate care with on-site physicians.

This PRN/As-needed role offers autonomy in a warm team, with growth opportunities and access to in-house clinical resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold an active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Corrections experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency medical care for incarcerated patients.
• Document care using SOAP format and adhere to formulary.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and Health Services Administrator for coverage.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per regulations.
• Participate in committees as requested.
