Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to perform a wide range of imaging procedures, ensure quality control, and maintain patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists, prepare radionuclides, and operate camera acquisition and processing systems.

This role requires ARRT credentials, BLS, and the ability to work independently with little supervision; you will document charges, ensure correct accession numbers, and follow radiology software such as

Qualifications

• ABachelor's degree preferred and ARRT credentialing may be required.
• Efficient in documenting charges and exam data in radiology systems.
• Ability to learn and apply department policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures with proficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for accurate imaging.
• Prepare radionuclides and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain room readiness and ensure equipment is functional.
• Enter exam data and charges timely in the information systems.
• Verify patient/exam accuracy before releasing images.
