Responsibilities include coordinating with radiologists, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring precise documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of physiology and nuclear medicine principles.
• Experience with scintigraphic equipment and processing systems.
• Ability to learn and use radiology software packages.
• Strong patient communication and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets quality control and performs patient examinations safely.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure proper imaging and continuity of care.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and processing.
• Maintains room readiness, stocks supplies, and reports malfunctions.
• Documents quality control, radionuclide data, and charges timely.
• Verifies patient/exam accuracy and corrects accession numbers as needed.
• Confirms examiner requests meet clinical indicators.
• Prepares radionuclides and explains procedures to patients.
• Administers radionuclides aseptically and follows safety principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
