Ideal candidates show strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and flexibility to work various shifts; familiarity with EHR and Microsoft Office is expected. A driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals struggling with substance use disorders or crisis situations.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Preferred: Ohio CDCA or SWA certification.
• Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; familiarity with EHR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and current clinical records for all persons served.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff about substance use treatment and wellness.
• Observe clients’ mental health or substance use symptoms and communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Facilitate group activities focused on mental health or substance use needs.
• Provide direct supervision of clients to ensure safety and basic needs are met.
• Assist clients with behavior management and positive behavioral interventions.
• Ensure safety through regular safety checks of clothing, belongings, and environment.
• Achieve productivity goals as assigned and organize work efficiently.
• Adhere to ethics, policy, and HIPAA compliance; use agency IT systems as required.
