Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for PRN night shift to assess, treat, and monitor patients from newborn to geriatric. The role includes delivering respiratory therapies, operating IPPB and oxygen devices, and performing chest physiotherapy under physician orders.

The candidate must hold a respiratory care certificate/diploma, KBRC license, and NBRC certification, with BLS/ACLS, PALS, and NRP within the first year. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate/diploma in respiratory care.
• KBRC license current.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
• BLS/ACLS, PALS and NRP certification within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory diseases and conditions.
• Deliver medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered.
• Provide invasive and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Perform diagnostic test procedures.
• Assist in quality improvement projects and department operations.
