Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a PRN, nights Respiratory Therapist (Certified). The role involves delivering respiratory therapies from newborns to geriatrics, including ventilator support and diagnostic testing, under medical direction.

Required are a Certificate/ diploma in respiratory care, NBRC-CRT, KBRC license, and BLS; ACLS, PALS and NRP within the first year are expected. This position supports ongoing quality-improvement efforts and operational duties.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in respiratory care is required.
• Associate degree in respiratory care preferred.
• Current KBRC license is required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist by NBRC is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to newborn through geriatrics under physician supervision.
• Perform prescribed treatments and operate IPPP, oxygen devices, nebulizers, and MDI as ordered.
• Conduct chest physiotherapy and arterial puncture; run blood gas analysis.
• Support department operations and participate in quality improvement projects, equipment and supplies.
