Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I for a PRN night shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) in the Clinical Lab. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and valid state certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin puncture or venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Enter data and perform clerical duties as needed.
• Demonstrate proper phlebotomy technique and use of equipment.
• Process specimens for analysis across laboratory disciplines.
• Stock routine supplies and maintain cleanliness of storage areas.
• Assist with specimen handling, referrals, and related tasks under supervision.
