Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center Neonatology is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team in a Level II NICU and the well-baby nursery. The PA will work independently and with attending physicians, providing high-quality neonatal care and support in the delivery room.

After orientation, the PA will be credentialed and participate in inpatient care, including ordering and interpreting tests and prescribing medications within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• National board certification.
• Current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license (or eligible).
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant in neonatal critical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality neonatal care in a Level II NICU and in the well-baby nursery and delivery room.
• Credential and work independently and collaboratively with attending physicians and the healthcare team.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and interventions within scope of practice.
