Job summary

NPHire is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neonatology for a Level II NICU in Lancaster, PA. You will oversee daily newborn care in collaboration with physicians and handle initial assessments for babies born outside the NICU.

The role requires BLS/PALS, board certification, and fellowship, with duties including performing procedural skills and managing high-acuity infants, all within 24-hour shift blocks.

Qualifications

• APPs oversee daily care of newborns in a Level II NICU and collaborate with physicians.
• Ability to perform UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures and intubations.
• Certification requirements include BLS, PALS, and board certification with fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily care of babies in collaboration with physicians.
• See babies born who are not admitted to the NICU.
• Provide procedural care and manage high-acuity neonatal patients.
