Job summary

Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey, PA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Neonatal-Perinatal team—the only Level IV NICU in central Pennsylvania.

The PA will provide advanced, family-centered care, collaborating with neonatologists, fellows, residents, nurses, and specialty staff, with autonomy and mentorship opportunities. 24/7 in-house coverage ensures seamless care for a diverse, complex neonatal population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• National board certification.
• Current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license (or eligible).
• Completion of a NICU fellowship (Level III or IV).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, evidence-based, family-centered care in the Neonatal-Perinatal team.
• Collaborate with attending neonatologists, fellows, residents, nurses, and specialty staff.
• Offer autonomy with opportunities for mentorship and education.
• Participate in 24/7 in-house coverage to ensure seamless care.
