Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX seeks a Multimodality Technologist (PRN) to perform imaging in two or more modalities, with at least 25% in CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR, for ambulatory and hospital patients under a radiologist's supervision.

Responsibilities include high-quality imaging, dose monitoring, iSTAT testing, patient communication, exam prep, and equipment/records maintenance per policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic program.
• Experience requirements noted as less than 1 year.
• Certified radiologic technologist with MRT or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality multimodality procedures per exam protocol.
• Monitor radiation dose and take action if limits are exceeded.
• Utilize iSTAT for point-of-care testing when needed.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and obtain appropriate history.
• Prepare patient and area, position, and set exposure factors.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and department safety standards.
• Maintain documentation and imaging records per policy.
