Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist for PRN coverage in the Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White-Waxahachie. The role performs multimodality imaging across CT, MR, and other modalities as requested by a physician, with emphasis on accurate and timely exams.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT registrations in R and CT, has OR experience, and is committed to patient safety and quality care in a high-volume hospital setting. Training provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT registries in R (radiography) and CT are required.
• OR experience is required.
• Education: Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: Less than 1 Year of Experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures following exam protocols.
• Maintains imaging quality and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Uses iSTAT point-of-care testing to obtain creatinine levels when needed.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and ensures correct exam is performed for each patient.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and sets appropriate exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet cleanliness and regulatory standards.
• Obtains and verifies requisitions, patient history, and related documentation.
• Maintains imaging records according to department policies.
