Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in South Carolina seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to support our outpatient imaging centers in West Ashley or North Charleston. The role offers premium PRN pay and a weekend shift differential, with flexible weekday or weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include performing scans, ensuring patient safety, data collection, and adherence to regulations, with opportunities for cross-training and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with MRI advanced registry.
• Complete CEUs to maintain active certification.
• Active state licensure, where applicable.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and collect pertinent patient data.
• Screen patients for ferrous materials before entering MRI.
• Position patients and select immobilization devices.
• Review charts and physician requests to determine scan parameters.
• Prepare and administer contrast per regulations.
• Document diagnostic data and archive images per guidelines.
• Maintain safety, equipment readiness, and quality of care.
• Cross-train for additional modalities within the center.
• Other duties as assigned.
