Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Columbia, SC seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to support our ImageCare center. You will perform MRI scans, verify patient data, and ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include selecting scanning parameters, preparing patients, administering contrast per regulations, documenting results, and maintaining equipment and patient records. Qualifications include ARRT registered with MRI specialty, accredited radiologic technology training, CPR, active state

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active.
• Active state licensure, where applicable.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete MRI scans and collect pertinent data.
• Review physician requests to determine scanning parameters.
• Screen patients for ferrous material before MRI.
• Position patients and prepare for MRI procedures.
• Administer contrast agents per regulations.
• Document and archive images; maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain safety and patient care standards.
