Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. This role offers premium PRN pay and a weekend differential, with flexible scheduling to meet department needs.

Applicants will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, administer contrast where required, and maintain accurate documentation. Shifts are available at Tricom Diagnostic Imaging or West Ashley Diagnostic Imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced MRI registry.
• Active state licensure, where applicable.
• CPR Certification is required.
• CEUs must be completed to keep Certification active.

Responsibilities

• Complete scans effectively and efficiently with proper data collection.
• Screen patients for ferrous material before entering the MRI field.
• Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures and select immobilization devices.
• Review charts and physician requests to determine scanning parameters.
• Administer contrast agents following state and federal regulations.
• Document patient data and results timely and accurately.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and quality assurance.
• Support patient care and provide clear explanations to patients.
