Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality scans. You will manage patient data, operate MRI equipment, and participate in quality assurance to meet safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration when needed, and adherence to department policies while providing compassionate care to the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on patients: prepares for exam, explains procedure, administers contrast when necessary, positions patient, selects imaging techniques, ensures scan quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data and maintains equipment quality.
• Performs QA on MRI equipment and supports accreditation processes.
• Takes emergency call within the department and ensures safe care per policy.
