AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a night PRN MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations. You will educate patients, prepare contrast material, and ensure safety and imaging quality while maintaining EMR/PACS documentation and adhering to safety standards.

Formación

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program
• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Associate (Preferred)
• Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures
• Basic Radiation Safety concepts of ALARA for patients and staff

Responsabilidades

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Educates patients about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions.
• Positions patients accurately using immobilization and coil placement techniques.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material.
• Performs daily system quality control checks and documents results.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
