Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Arlington, VA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, focusing on patient-centered care and exceptional service.

This is a temporary PRN position with variable hours (about 10 hours per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM), with DailyPay available after set-up. Qualified candidates must be ARRT or ARMRIT certified, CPR current, and able to perform MRI procedures independently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Screen patient before exam using two identifiers and ensure correct patient/procedure.
• Explain MRI procedure and position patient for scanning.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI parameters and maintain RIS records.
• Maintain equipment and uphold safety standards.
