Job summary

A leading radiology services provider in Virginia is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide exceptional patient care. This temporary (PRN) role involves working roughly 10 hours per week, assisting with diagnostics while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications

• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam for precautions using two identifiers.
• Explains MRI procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures for diagnostic use.
• Maintains all equipment in good working order and cleans after each use.
• Assists with maintaining updated imaging protocol manuals.
