Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images with a patient-centered approach. The role requires ensuring patient safety, positioning, and accurate RIS documentation. PRN shifts are scheduled as needed.

Qualifications include AMA radiography training, ARRT/ARMRIT registration, CPR certification, and the ability to perform MRI procedures independently. A strong commitment to safety and accreditation standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for precautions and ensure correct patient identification.
• Explain procedures and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and follow safety regulations.
• Keep work area clean and equipment disinfected.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
