Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. This is a temporary PRN position with ~10 hours weekly, offering both day and evening shifts in Arlington, VA. You will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images and provide patient-centered care.

Qualifications include ARRT/ARMRIT registration, AMA-approved radiography training, CPR certification, and state licensure as required. You will adhere to safety standards, document in RIS, and collaborate with physicians for

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on state regulations.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned MRI scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and position patients for accurate scans.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Follow physicians' orders, maintain safety, and document in RIS.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment; ensure AC R toolkit compliance.
