Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- Collegeville is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center in Collegeville, PA. The MRI technologist will perform routine to complex MRI procedures and ensure patient safety throughout all studies.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, maintaining high image quality, and collaborating with the radiology team to support efficient patient care. ARRT/ARMIT licensing and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate from an accredited two-year radiology program.
• Must be registered by ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT; MR advanced registration required within 12 months for IDTF centers.
• State licensure required where the employee practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex MRI procedures and related techniques with imaging for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines during procedures.
• Collaborate with the imaging center team and contribute to ongoing clinical improvements.

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- Collegeville is currently seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center located in Collegeville, PA.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI technologist:

• Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist

EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
