Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- Malvern is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN, part-time position at our outpatient imaging center in Malvern, PA. The role operates under the Radiology Medical Director to perform MRI procedures and ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualified candidates have an associates degree in radiology or completion of a two-year radiology program, ARRT or ARMIT registration, and MR advanced registration within the first 12 months as required by the center.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT; MR advanced registration through ARRT/ARMIT required for IDTF centers
• Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within first 12 months of employment
• Must meet state licensure requirements for the practice state

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex MRI procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
• Ensures services are performed safely per guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and contributes to continuous improvement of clinical practice

JOB SUMMARY

• Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

Experience

• Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist

Education

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification Requirements

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
