Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging - Collegeville is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center in Collegeville, PA. The MRI technologist performs MR procedures and supports safety and quality, coordinating with the radiology team.

Requirements include ARRT/ARMIT registration (MR advanced on hire for IDTF centers) and a state license, with up to five years of MRI experience and an associate degree in radiology or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist.
• Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or equivalent program.
• ARRT or ARMIT registration with MR advanced registry on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex MR procedures and produces images for interpretation.

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- Collegeville is currently seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center located in Collegeville, PA.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI technologist:

• Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist

EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
