Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- East Norriton is actively seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN role at our outpatient imaging center in East Norriton, PA. The MRI technologist will perform complex MRI procedures, ensure safety, and work with the radiology team to maintain high-quality imaging services.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent, ARRT or ARMIT registration with MR advanced registry within 12 months, and state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Minimum Associate Degree in Radiology or completed an accredited two-year radiology program.
• Must be ARRT registered in Radiography or ARMIT; MR advanced registry required within 12 months (for IDTF centers). State licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex MRI procedures and produces images for interpretation by licensed physicians.
• Ensures imaging services are performed safely according to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with imaging center team and provides feedback to improve clinical practice.

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- East Norriton is currently seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center located in East Norriton, PA.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI technologist:

• Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

EXPERIENCE

• Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist

EDUCATION

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
