Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging - Malvern is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center in Malvern, PA. Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, you will perform MRI procedures and ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation.

The role requires up to 5 years of MRI experience, an AS degree in Radiology, ARRT/ARMIT registration with MR credential within 12 months, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Minimum Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent two-year program.
• ARRT in Radiography or ARRT/ARMIT MR credentials with MR advanced registry within the first 12 months; state licensure required.

Responsibilities

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Jefferson Outpatient Imaging- Malvern is currently seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center located in Malvern, PA.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI technologist:

• Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist

EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
