Centurion Health seeks a PRN Medical Records Clerk at the Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton, IL. You will maintain offender health records, retrieve documents for appointments, and process new intake records.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Prior medical records experience is preferred, with benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
• RHIA/RHIT certification preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with medical records and services.
• Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Maintains offender health records and retrieves records for appointments.
• Files offender health data and initiates records for new or transferred intakes.
• Reviews records for completeness and files records as required.
• Prepares reports as needed and facilitates record requests.
