Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, Illinois. You will maintain offender health records, retrieve records for appointments, file data, and initiate records for intakes.

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8a-4p. The role requires a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree, with RHIA/RHIT certification preferred but not required, and CPR/BLS certification active.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree required or preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification active preferred.
• Prior experience with medical records and services preferred.
• Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offender health records and retrieve records for scheduled appointments.
• File offender health data and initiate records for new or transferred intakes.
• Review health records for completeness and file records as required; prepare reports as needed.
