Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas in Irving, TX is hiring a PRN Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to perform routine and complex tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology and microbiology. You will ensure accurate results and uphold high quality standards in a fast-paced hospital lab.

Qualifications

• MLT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Associate degree required.
• At least one year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis and microbiology.
• Maintain quality results by running standards/controls, calibrating equipment and following QC measures.
