Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology program from an accredited institution.
• MLT certification or eligible from ASCP/NCA is required or highly desirable.
• Military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration; must have held the military MLS (Laboratory Technician) role.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for all testing levels on clinical and research specimens.
• Provide test method information and interpretation to health care providers.
• Investigate quality assurance issues and recommend corrective actions.
