Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MA experience in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/check-out.
• Maintain patient data in the medical record and communicate results promptly.
• Support care plans and outreach to drive patient engagement.
