Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant in Lexington, KY. You will support a primary care physician, perform vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and assist with exams and patient flow.

The role combines front-d desk duties with clinical responsibilities to deliver excellent patient care and guest experience. Certification and BLS/CPR are required at start date; phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
• Record data accurately in medical records and communicate results to patients.
