Premise Health in Williamsport, MD is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to provide care to employees and dependents at our on-site Health Center. Hours are PRN—as needed with the potential to grow into a set schedule.

You will interview patients, measure vitals, maintain health records, prepare treatment rooms, administer medications, perform labs and EKGs, and support front desk tasks. A CMA certification and BLS are required; phlebotomy skills and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifikationen

• National certification in Medical Assisting is required.
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers required.
• CMA certification from a listed certifying body is required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height).
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted.
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders supplies.
